LaLiga returns to action this weekend with Gameweek 407 after the international break came just four weeks into the new domestic season, with Real Madrid the only side boasting an unblemished record having won all four games and conceded just two goals along the way.

It returns in full force this weekend, with Real Madrid hosting Real Sociedad in arguably the pick of the weekend fixtures on Sunday, while Atletico Madrid travel to Valencia and Barcelona host Real Betis.

101 Great Goals has looked at the data to see which players you should consider picking for the week ahead in your Sorare LaLiga team, analysing the most in-form players judging by their last five average scores and looked at who each player is to come up against in the next gameweek to suggest who you should pick in your side.

Goalkeeper

Paulo Gazzaniga – vs Granada (a)

Girona have been the surprise story of LaLiga so far this season, even despite the early nature of the league season, winning three of their matches so far and drawing the other one. Key to that has been the defensive efforts – led by Gazzaniga – which have seen them concede just twice so far, with those goals coming against Sevilla and Sociedad. Gazzaniga has been impressive between the sticks, earning good Sorare scores of 29, 72, 51 and 85 so far this season with 11 shots on target saves.

Defender

Gaya – vs Atletico (h)

Gaya finished last season strongly even with Valencia in trouble at the foot of the table, but they have started this season much stronger with two wins in four games – albeit with two defeats to their name as well. There was an eye-catching 2-1 win away at Sevilla and even in defeats to Osasuna and Deportivo Alaves, Gaya continued to score highly from full-back. He has taken that form into international duty and with scores this season of 54, 59, 77, 59, 100 and 67, he is a must-have for your Sorare team.

Midfielder

Lucas Robertone – vs Villarreal (a)

Jude Bellingham is the obvious pick given his clear world-class abilities and attacking threat for Real Madrid, where he has already been the match-winner on four occasions and has scored six goals in as many appearances so far this season, but Robertone is one who may go under the radar for your Sorare teams but it still a worthwhile selection. The Almeria midfielder has scores of 52, 78, 28 and 67 despite playing in a deeper midfield role but with a completed passing rate of 82% and 33% of his passes being progressive, he is earning a steady stream of points.

Forward

Take – vs Real Madrid (a)

Take is developing into a bit of a Sorare favourite for us, given his run at the end of last season and start to this campaign. He scored four in his last nine matches of the campaign and has three to his name along with an assist so far this season, which means he is already a third of the way to his overall tally of nine goals for last season. That means he has been scoring very well too, with totals of 83, 72, 48 and 84 – he scored a double against Granada last time out – and has been key to Sociedad’s early season form. He should be a good differential option for your side.
